Uthai-thani Sugar Mill Project in Thailand with Daily Crushing Capacity of 12,000 tons Sugarcane & Daily Re-melting 700 tons Raw Sugar
Thailand Utha-thani Sugar Mill, with daily crushing 12000 tons sugarcane and remelting 700 tons raw sugar, was constructed by GXYA under EPC general contracting mode. It is the first one sugar mill project constructed under this mode in Thailand. This project adopts two-steps sugar making process, and more than 95% of the equipments for this project are made in China, which can be called as the first “China Made” sugar mill in Thailand. In normal condition, completing the project should take about two years time, but GXYA completed it in 430 days only, giving the best record of constructing speed for this kind of project in Thailand. After operation, the mill runs steadily, produces high-quality product, and with production indexes showing that it meets the designed and even better. This gained strong attention in the Sugar Industry in Thailand. Moreover, the project was also awarded China Construction Project Luban Prize (Oversea Project) of 2014; it became the First Sugar Mill EPC Project acquiring Overseas’ Luban Prize.
During the milling season of 2013-2014, the total amount of crushed sugar cane was 1.075 million tons, and the highest crushing capacity in a day even reached 15,030.72 tons sugar cane.
During the milling season of 2014-2015, the total amount of crushed sugar cane was 1.25 million tons, and the highest crushing capacity in a day even reached 15,960tons sugar cane.
During the milling season of 2015-2016, the total amount of crushed sugar cane was 1.1524 million tons.
During the milling season of 2016-2017, the total amount of crushed sugar cane reached 1.2 million tons.
